stupid scam. think it would work?

pose as a prostitute on craigslist. have fake pictures ready to send to prospective customers. tell them that because of the possibility of being given fake bills and customers forcibly taking their money back after the session.. you only accept bitcoin in advance. Sit back and...profit. Will likely require you to team up with a girl, as they may want to talk to 'you' over the phone. Girl does not have to be physically with you...doesn't even need to be someone you know, can just be someone you met on reddit and you share the proceeds with her. And if you are a girl, well, this scam's just that much easier for you.

I am sure the idiots would fall for it.  The problem is the idiots wouldn't be able to figure out bitcoin.

Nobody would ever fall for that. First of all, real prostitutes would use the fake bills anyway to buy shit at the convenience store or score drugs or whatever.

I've had so many Craigslist scams like that just looking for apartments… people were asking me to send "money orders" through Western Union for a security deposit, and were asking me to fill out applications asking for my social security number, and this was all before I had even come to go see the place! You can smell a scam like that a mile away.

Here's the thing. Your average john that buys prostitutes, he KNOWS there's a high possibility that there are fake pictures on there. Prostitutes use fake pictures all the time. They use a picture of a really hot girl as "bait," and then when you come and meet the real prostitute, you realize she is ugly and not the girl in the photo.

Here's a better scam if you are a girl. Go work as a call girl and show up. Tell the client he needs to shower, and then while he is in the shower you steal his wallet and cell phone and run away and go buy a bag of crack rocks.
