Looks great to me!
I cant quite tell but it may be a little dry.

That is a very good size, and the rhizos seem to be coming through evenly.
I see a good flush in your future!

wow...thats so nice to hear. Thanks for the input. These are TC's cased with 60/40 coco/verm. Perlite bottom layer of about 3/4 inch....water about 1/2 inch. i owe everything to the ppl on this forum. Here's hoping for a nice flush. Thanks everyone.

I agree with Effed, watch over the casing's moisture content. I'm not sure it its just the picture...

In Shroom Wizards tek he says to mist the casing with 10 - 12 good pumps. Ive read elsewhere that you shouldnt mist. Im really unclear about whether or not to mist the surface of the casing. So I tried one...... seems to have slowed the rhizo down for a day or so. Any feedback on this?

kramer says the only times to mist are
when casing looks dry
after harvisting a flush
if your humidity is down

Ok...the casing has little high spots of coco that are starting to dry. But my way of thinking is that it would be a shame to spray the whole thing down for 4 square inches of dry material poking thru. Please correct me if this is wrong. Remembering I have a decent perlite and water bottom layer on this case. Thanks

ya give it a little misting. that'll help tell the mycelium it's time to pin
says kramer
btw what strain?
remember shrooms don't grow on dry ground

I think he meant to say drop the RH to 85 area <24 hrs after you see the first noticeable pins>

But something must've interrupted him halfway through his sentence.  I can tell because there is not a period at the end...

Everything looks great, go ahead and spray (with a very fine mist).  Don't be so worried about pins aborting because of spraying IMO this only happens if you go overboard.  Keep the humidity as high as possible, keep the air exchanges up.  Then drop humidity after pins form, and keep air exchanges up too.

Everyones entitled to their opinions and I would like to thank everyone for their valuable input. Im not stupid or a drone, I have the ability to reason and read. All info is good info. Informed decisions are usually less consequential. So thanks all!
Soon hopefully....

What did Anno say to do?
I'd rarely if ever question his expertise, but I don't see him stating something to do here.

he didnt.... but the implication of his statement was that there is no reason to drop the Rh at this point. nuff said. Like i said, Im all ears. Ill take any and all advice and try to make an informed decision. Various people have various ideas, some good, and some.... not so good. Flying a kite with a metal key wasn't a popular idea either, but its a good thing someone tried it. Input no matter how silly or brilliant, is what got us this far. wheat / chaff. cant have one without the other.
