I am wondering about this.  I read he was arrested in the past for hacking government networks.  I wonder if they cut him a deal and co-opted him?

I think Wikileaks should only post shit that exposes corrupt, powerful assholes for what they are; posting a bunch of random shit that doesn't expose corruption just harms innocent people.

The CIA is very powerful; so is the U.S. military.  Look at what happened in Afghanastan and Iraq.

The world isn't about pure numbers anymore man.  Quality has come to mean a lot.  Encryption has a HUGE lead on decryption at the moment; the world over.  What that means is that it is incredibly easier to lock shit up TIGHT than to decode it.  There are encryption types that are near impossible to break; they are based on logical algorithms that have been PROGRAMMED to take indefinite amounts of time to solve; sort of like a pi situation.  The smartest, fastest computer in the world will plug away on pi for forever and not reach a solution (if pi is indeed an irrational number; something that cannot be proven).

Well you  know what. Sometimes people have to be hurt in order to get things
done the right way. You do not think innocent people are being hurt right now??
Especially by our own government as well as all the others? Come on now.

There is so much information that the people need to know and Wiki Leaks is
helping receive that information. They are truly do good things here.

Well you  know what. Sometimes people have to be hurt in order to get things
done the right way.

That's my point, people don't have to be hurt by Wikileaks if they just posted shit that exposed corruption by the rich & powerful.

My secrets are personal things about me. Things that only really effect me. The secrets Wikileaks has released are doing harm to many people. These people traded their souls for their positions. Fuck privacy.

In that case he is making secrets public to the people. But what about other nations? Please someone persuade me somewhere else, but so far im seeing. It sounds like espionage against the United States of America.

Looks like Assange is arrested now.    Not sure what that means for wikileaks future but id bet he has the rest of the files released if him or any of his people get hurt.
