I absolutely love Ash Ra Tempel.

Names also worth mentioning are:

Arzachel
Blue Cheer
Mahavishnu Orchestra
Khan

Early Kraftwerk.

Beggars Opera:

Heh, thanks.

Best album from Ash Ra Tempel is obviously their first: "Ash Ra Tempel".

I try not to listen to it very often, got to save it for special times :P But generally all Ash Ra is good. Although I haven't listened to all of their albums, to be honest.
They were always high, and it tells, but they had to replace their bassist at one point, reason: he was too high all the time (which means he must have been really fucking high, considering the times).

Anyway, couple of more picks:

ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE TRIPPING SONG!

Steelye Span

Strawberry Alarm Clock: Rainy Day Mushroom Pillow

Arzachel - Leg (1969) -- From the best psychedelic rock album EVER, called "Azaroth" -- I try not to listen to it too often also, but its damn good.

Gong - Flying Teapot (First Part) -- One of the few bands who are still around and rocking hard, their latest album (2009) is quite good also. This one is from 1973

KRAFTWERK - VOM HIMMEL HOCH

And speaking of electronic, here is some nice ambient:
Terry Riley "In The Summer" 1975 -- Actually it is so good for me that my heart cryes when posting it, like I spoil it somehow by letting someone else know it exists.

And lets end it with: Pretty Things - LSD

Guess I need.. LSD..

Fuck, this seemed like hell of a good time :awebigvaped:

Thanks for the tunes simmms, I like arzachel too. Metempsychosis is....crazy lol. I like the kraftwork and ambient tune you posted alot too. Im gonna relisten to the first Ash Ra Tempel album at the right time.

This is only half of the full song but all they have on youtube.

I like sweet smoke, its deff lighter stuff but good. The album just a poke and darkness to light are very good. (my fav off darkness to light is kundalini but they dont have that on youtube.

I actually downloaded that gong trilogy albums like a year ago but havent listened yet. Wanna save them for a trip probably before introduce.
Seven up is a really good Ash Ra tempel album aswell. Has timothy leary on some of the tracks.

Its cool to sharing music with you, especially considering your in europe and im in the states
