Kraftwerk

I just came back from one of their show. They stop to four places in North America for their tour and they came to Montreal!

First I must say that even bfore seeing the show I thought they were insanely great. Now after the show I can advance that they are geniuses. They are as great as Mozart, Frank Zappa and all the other highly accomplished musician.

First they played all their good tunes ( long list here; Number, robots, pocket calculator, trance euro express, radioactivity, neonlight, autobahn, tour de France, vitamin, aerodynamik, music non-stop and I'm forgetting a few.)

Being four in the group it was pretty weird because they did not move and show no emotions. All they did was be in line in front of the scene playing their synths. At the same time they had a huge screen in the back showing images having a relation with their songs.

At first it might seem weird but it was the perfect show. The music and sound was oh so good. What is so perfect about them is that their music might seem pretty simple but it's more of an illusion, it's complexe as hell, especially during the show you could hear it.
Secondly, every track was a new discovery in a modern world of robots and numbers and technology. What I did find interesting about all this is that they are in my opinion the group that represents the most our century. They are a a reflexion of what we are, in hundreds of years we will remember them and we will remember our society and the way it is today.

Finally, all I have to say is that it was not only a music show but more of an experience. Everything in your body was stimulated, the visuals, the music, the sound that had a huge repercussion on your body.

If you live somewhere near where they will play I strongly suggest it to you.
