There really isn't any moral cure for this problem, apart from people getting some fucking common sense - but that ain't ever gonna happen.
Bringing a child into this world isn't no small thing, and should be one of the most well thought out decisions in any persons life. Thus, there should be laws for incarcerating stupid fucks who go around fucking without protection, and getting 'knocked up'.
No conviction, just a lengthy and tedious stay in a parenting 101 boot-camp, where they can learn some fucking responsibility..
I think this would also be a nice option. And I agree, but morals have been lost to us long ago.
See, the thing also about this subject is.... basically population, the population of humans are growing and growing. Imagine ten years at the rate we're going at. I know most people have such a high emphasis on there compassion for our species, but me, I don't have the exact same feeling. I don't see a fetus as a human life, and I don't honestly care about ALL people as a whole, but that doesn't mean I don't have compassion, I absolutely love helping people in true need of help. I consider myself a good samaritan, but I don't have that same primal drive to protect the survival of the human race. Mostly because it's not going anywhere soon. The fall of humanity will not be by humans, but by nature itself, so I just see most people the same way I see all life, but so much less so because of our tremendous population, and rate of reproduction. And we are smart enough to stop our population form being overrun, also the only animal that can enforce natural selection is ourselves, humans.
I think china had a good idea, just a cruel way of enforcing it, if two people have only one child, and that continues down the line for generations, the population will drop dramatically. It's simple math two people make one person, if everyone ideally had two children in our lifetime, the population would remain the same. But unlike china, it is not known if a fetus has feelings, so we are not imposing a mandatory murder on a child. This does fall on the ideals of some of the communist governments we have know to hate, but so does some our current drug laws.
I myself have already a daughter, so I plan to get a vasectomy, to do my part. I don't want anymore children just for this fact alone.
Before you try and bash me, just think long and hard about that.
If my mom would have had an abortion with me in her womb, do you really think I would care? NO, I wouldn't be here to care. I honestly say ok, one less life to ruin the earth before the sun does.
And no I don't have asburgers. lol. And I realize our desire to procreate is perfectly natural, but we honestly have the intelligence to control our population. If we lived in a fantacy land, I would make intelligence mandatory. End of story. We are saved!
