yeah, so I was thinkin about how Christians don't support abortion, but historically they support going to war in the name of God.

which is fucked up because an abortion is just one murder, whereas a war is like mass murder. So like its OK for them to commit mass murder in the name of God, but not population control in the name of God.

this kind of makes me wish I were a chick, so I could get an abortion in the name of God. I would have a big ceremony and invite everyone. If I ever get my chick pregnant, I will demand she have an abortion, dedicated to God and Jesus. Then we'll save some of the blood from it and go to a church and dump it on Jesus's head. I bet we could even get the priest to drink some, those dudes are all closet freaks.

so that's my idea, who's with me?

Im no christan, and dont believe in religious wars...

But they are not comparable. From the christians mind the unborn child (or fetus) is innocent and does not deserve death, but those who do not follow the religion have chosen a life style against their definition of what is 'right' or against their god.

Fuck god. I never understood why people WOULDNT get an abortion (especially teenagers), how fucking STUPID and ignorant do you have to be to ruin your life at such a young age?

Because they don't want to kill their baby? Seems like a good reason to me. The mistake is getting pregnant in the first place. We need easy access to emergency contraceptives, and if you can't take a pill to avoid getting pregnant then fuck you, you're not having an abortion.

Yeah if you take all the necessary precautions and still contract a uterine parasite, then that's one of the few situations where an abortion is probably okay. But you could argue that people know the risks of sexual activity, nobody claims contraception is 100% effective, and you should consider and accept that risk before engaging in baby-making activity. I would settle for cracking down on the people who use abortions as birth control though.

I doubt anyone would use it as a routine method of birth control... It's a pretty difficult experience for all involved. Up to a certain point they use a drug to cause a miscarriage, and so the woman has to 'give birth' to the foetus, and after the time limit for that method they have to put the woman under a general and then perform an operation which leaves pain and bleeding for up to 2 weeks.

All said, it pisses me off when religious twats are all 'It's eeeevil! stopping killing the babies!', because they aren't babies, they're foetuses, and should not be considered either living or human yet. And they should keep their noses out, and stop trying to ruin the 'parents' lives...

I'm pro-choice, but nobody can deny that a fetus is alive. And if it's not human, than what is it?

Don't kid yourself; abortion is killing, but I don't think that makes it cruel or tragic.
