mi still sober from alcohol. i have been taking a lot of other shit though in large amounts. mainly OTC speed shit... like No DOZ, energey shots, energy drinks, mountain dew. im not sure if there is any connection, but i do need to cut back on the shit. either way, NO BOOZE!!! i even went to a friends last weekend and a few people were there drinking, in front of me. i didnt get any urges or didnt have to fight myself.

Somebody once told me that quitting anything consists of increments of 3s. If you can get past the 3 day mark, you can get through 3 weeks, if you got through 3 weeks you can make 3 months, if you made it to 3 months you can make it 3 years and so on and so forth.

I just got up bozzing again, dropped the shiva.

That's bullshit. I've gone 3 days, 3 weeks, and even 3 months. But I always go back to it.

After 2 weeks of staying sober I just went back to the bottle. Took a little road trip and picked up a bottle of Everclear in Maryland.

i never thought i would be saying this but, TOMORROW WILL BE EXACTLY 6 MONTHS WITH NO AlCOHOL. before that i had been drinking heavly for the past 4 years. i use to start the day with at least 2 24oz steele reserves. im talking 7am. anyone who knew me would know that i ALWAYS had a beer in my hand. kinda like the dad on taladaga nights.

i havent stopped everything entirely though. in the past 6 months ive done mesc once, mushrooms once, kpins a few times, hydrocodone a few times, percocet a few times, and a handful of muscle relaxers. other then that.... ive been pretty clean.

everyone asks me if im ever going to drink again and i never really know how to answer that. is it possible to have a socially normal drinking habit after being a fucking idiot for years?

today is 8 months which is great, but i was thinking...
would drinking a 4 loko or another energy drink with alcohol be cheating? would that set me back?

i want to go at least a year with no alcohol than drink on occasions like christmas.

Hell yeah it would set you back. It would be like cheating on your hot wife with a smelly fat chick.

Do a whole year man. I just skimmed through this thread reading your posts waiting for you to say you caved in but you haven't yet... and with a 4 loko!? You'd feel so stupid for doing that.

I don't know what it's like to have a problem with alcohol but I imagine what it's much more rewarding to say, "1 year clean" than it is to have a christmas drink.

youre right. i was only looking for a cheap quick wake up buzz and a buddy at work was saying how the four lokos are perfect.

i might even go longer than a year, but 1 year is my main goal.
