Off to Bagdhad...

My brother (a sargent in the army) just called me from Fort Campbell
They are shipping everyone over to Kuwait this weekend, and not too long after that he says theyll probably be dropping him into Bagdhad by helicopter, all decked out in bulletproof armor and a full bio-suit... He is basically on the frontline in this whole thing... woohoo.

Of course he is all psyched for it.

I was just thinking how it's probably the superiors' job to convince the frontline that they won't be in as much danger as they actually will be... to help calm their nerves or whatever.

this is all pretty fucked up, I am almost glad something is actually happening though. Waiting for a disaster seems almost as bad as it actually occurring.

I will be the first to say Thankyou to you and your parents for people like your brother. He as well as many others are very courageous individuals who are willing to put their lives on the line to save what it is that keeps us free, our country. God Bless and God Speed to him and his fellow troops.

wait now...while I disagree with this war and most military action, I agree that we should be thankful to have brave soldiers willing to put their lives on the line to protect people. They do accomplish some good and I am grateful for it!

Let's not forget that the Iraqis aren't suppose to have any weapons of mass destruction...let's not forget that they  had originally stated they had none....and let's not forget that this past weekend they destroyed 4 of their missiles...oh wait..they weren't suppose to have any in the first place!  :confused:

though i'm against war...saddam hussein needs to be thrown out of his power. sure if a war happens millions of iraqui people will die but let's not forget those kurds up in northern iraq that saddam has been slaughtering for years.

Iraq doesn't have pure antrax so the anthrax they have is useless. Any one can make anthrax that doesn't mean shit. Its the pure stuff that you need. Impure anthrax is harmless if they try to release it in the air. It just isn't fine enough powder to travel through the air so who cares who has anthrax as long as they don't know how to make it pure(which they don't). And about the whole thing over who is supposed to have weapons or not what about north Korea?? They are making illegal weapons right now. They are not like iraq that is trying to hold on to all the old weapons they can so they can protect themselves, they(N. Korea) are producing nuclear weapons in preperation for war. Think goddamnit!!!! Fools all of you!!!! If we fought every country who didn't follow a treaty exactly there wouldn't be more then one country left on the planet(the one that wins). You people that want war would follow Hitler!!! I spit on you!! And one last thing its fucking iraq. Not much of a fucking threat!!! The U.S.S.R was a threat, Germany was a threat, North Korea is a threat, England was a threat but not fucking iraq. No technology=no threat. They don't have the weapons to protect themselves from a developed country and everyone of you idiots think they are going to try to take the world or some shit if they are not stopped. We are the biggest threat to world peace. not some poor ass undeveloped country with few weapons and horrible technology.
