i just found some shit i wrote some months ago, thanks for this post
here it is:


How long before I realize
See through the contradictory
To a truth beneath the roots
That runs like water under crumbling buildings
Blow the dust from off my ancient artifacts
Rediscover and redefine what they teach me
How we compromise our energy for knowledge
Flowing through these veins
Speaking meaning through the wires and walls
Which I embrace after watching it all turn to stone and back again

Crawling through the chaotic
Clawing desperately for belief
Chasing and tasting that revealing rhythm
Alone and waiting for the incomparable touch of truth


Pain of mind within me
Amidst all these familiar vessels
In this world
Begging for the questions to stop
And missing them when they’re gone
Feeling so weird and different
Up on my hill lost in the clouds staring down
All those strange vehicles screaming around below me
When will it be time again?


Waking up to happy little memories
Head swimming in acid, playing in my backyard
Sitting by my mom’s garden, watching the sun go down
Kind of funny, I could of sworn I wasn’t so happy then
But that’s all I can remember right now.


So afraid of the dark
so completely
So alone with my thoughts


All these lights surround me
this radiation is just a memory
of a program
of a moment when things felt different
and I didn't seem so
predicted


could i just be honest with myself..
because i feel scared of becoming something all bottled up
im a little uneasy
all holed up down here with my thoughts and my friends
we're all floating around building tension
so bored we're pulling out dillusion, spreading it around and around

i can hear the rhythm welling up underneath me
whispering, promising its course
running with or without my stability

because ive run away from my mother and father
far into the night
breeding traumas in my maze

close my eyes
grassy field under the stars
feeling something called love
lost...

this be it
the last time
this unanswered puzzle
barely split beyond one
exsistential within two

I tried to escape this
the dirt flipping over my shoulder
trying to dig my own path
all while staring at this peaceful koan
" the begining is the end, and the end is the begining "

sitting up in bed
sweat pouring down my body
i am born again
the digging has subsided
because in my panic i finally realized
who, was the subliminal thinker...............

Sorry I did not realize this was supposed to be something I came up with. I am better with paint and graphite then words. I will leave the koans anyway.  :blush:

Here is a koan:

One day Chao-chou fell down in the snow, and called out, "Help me up! Help me up!" A monk came and lay down beside him. Chao-chou got up and went away.

This is not poetry or a koan but enjoy anyways:
