To understand ZEN, you just have to look at the symbols. E means Equals. Z=N. N and Z are two different ways of looking at the same symbol. Matter=Energy. They are two equivalents joined by E [equals(=)]. Z and N are two different ways of looking at the same symbol, but they are two different symbols Z and N. Symbols are entities (gods). Z is and entity E(=) is an entity, and N is an entity, and together they form a triangle. This is true of everything in reality. ZEN=Reality. Its much easier to see if you looks at it this way:

No, no. To understand ZEN, you have to rotate clockwise all letters 90?, then you'll read NMZ wich means No More Zen wich is the end. Other way is reading it backwards NEZ, Nintendo Entertainment Zystem wich is another way of reality but virtual. Of course in china, ZEN is not writen the way we do, just symbols, so probably they see reality thru an xbox or PS2. For people who can't read ZEN will sound like Michael Schumacher driving his ferrari: "zzzzennnnnnnnn".
Anyway, if you look a the question from another angle, ZEN could be BEN in italian and BEN is the guy who sells pizza in NY, so Z=E is the same as B=E. In fact, GOD is G=D the same as DOG wich is D=G, so god is dog.
Bottom line, playing with words will not reveal any truth, the essence of ZEN yes perhaps, riddling with words, i don't think so. So help me Jebus !

ZEN is a special word thought, and you can reveal its meaning through looking at the letters that make it up. There are several other words I can think of that you can explain by looking at the meaning of letters that make it up. PEACE, SEA, and OCEAN for instance. Anyways, thank you for adding comic relief to this thread, because without laughter, ZEN is a waste of time. Merry Christmas

I already understand ZEN. I wrote that as a way of communicating the meaning of ZEN to others. What I said above isa more precise way of saying to every cat there is a dog, but you are right, its important to allow people to figure out ZEN on their own, and what I wrote above makes doing that far too easy, but just for a laugh, Im not going to get rid of this post, because if a zen master hit me with a stick, I would also laugh, for laughter is the true essence of zen.

You are right about people having to discover zen on their own. I suggest you download some Alan Watts, he gives good lectures. It is possible to try and explain zen, but it is a different matter to understand it, and I am by no means saying that I do. It is espeically hard to maintain every minute zen. I too have gotten trapped into explaining things I have learnt from psychedelics and life. I was so surprised and amazed, when I cam down I had to tell everything. However, I didn't bother to think it through all the way. It is very hard to put into words, my posts sounded like ramblings of a mad man. The people that give the best descriptions still can't get the message across. I found the Shroomery the best place to talk about my experiences though and am glad you are enthusiastic.
