Just the other day I was thinking about what it would be like if Moss stayed and had Favre throwing to him.

He didn't like it in New England? Just wait 'til ol' Brett can't get him the ball.

Edit: Also I hope he wears a different number just to fuck with everyone that already has Moss jerseys.

Why would they need to bargain with somebody already under contract?  He was a whiny bitch.  Brady didn't do shit Monday because he didn't have to.  NE D and ST put up 21 points.  At that point you just pull it down and run it out.  Randy doesn't seem to understand that winning the game is the goal, not getting him touches.

He was upset at halftime when they weren't winning and the one ball thrown to him was on a trick play. Granted he probably could have/should have caught it, but it wasn't the best toss in the world.

I don't know how fucked his priorities are. I think he went to New England to win and the best chance they had while he was there they didn't get it done.

He's probably not the greatest guy but I think after the Raiders' tragedy he figured it out a bit, did what seemed to be the right move, and it didn't work out. I don't blame him for being bitter about his career results thus far.

Just when the Vikes were on the verge of irrelevancy, a gift falls in their lap.  A first-ballot hall-of-fame receiver who does nothing but catch touchdown passes.  And he's partnered with a first-ballot hall-of-fame quarterback with a cannon for an arm as well as arguably the best running back in the NFL. 

The reason Minnesota has looked so bad this year after looking so great last year was the loss of the deep threat.  Now, they have that back.  There's no question.  This transaction puts Minnesota right back into the upper echelon of the NFC.

What does it do for the Patriots?  Time will tell.  Short term it can't be seen as a positive.

Moss may even be an upgrade to the receiving core Favre had last year.



I think the Pats will be fine.  Tom Brady, as much as I hate him, is really the talent on that offense.  He's turned underrated WRs into stars his whole career.

On Inside the NFL this week Phil Simms tried to make the case that Pats would be BETTER without Moss and Colingsworth was like WTF???

This is the second trade where I thought the Pats didn't hold out for enough. The first was with Cassel. I agree this is going to help the Vikes a lot. Favre needs a long man and whoever replaces Favre after he bails out with injuries before the season is out will need him, too.

cant double team both rice and moss without having LBs jogging behind shiancoe berrian and harvin

plus if they even play the coverage on all those receivers could just check down to PETERSON who will have 20+ yard to run

team will be beasty now

Just don't forget that Berrian doesn't catch balls over the middle and Harvin can only catch balls when he is on the field, which doesn't seem common anymore.
