I had been soaking a broken pipe in alcohol for 3 weeks once and had a cut on a finger I had submerged in it... I felt both high and drunk within seconds :crazy2: straight to thaa blood is the way to go!

I've made alcohol and glycerin-based tinctures before, in small scale and by the gallon.

You really don't have to let it sit for months, the trick is something I stole from analyzing how a local whiskey company simulates 20+ years of aging in less than 2.  It's all about expansion and contraction.  You want to finely grind your shit up to increase surface area, but you also want to take it through cycles of heating and cooling (I use a freezer and a crock pot on warm) to expand and contract the plant matter and force the alcohol/glycerin into and out of your bud.

The general recipe we used to blow most people's socks off was about 5 to 6 ounces of trim per gallon of glycerin.  My special batches were made with 8 to 10 ounces per gallon.

I prefer a glycerin based tincture to be very strong, as I don't like the body load of too much glycerin.  I guess the same could be said about alcohol tinctures, but I never really even got over the taste of them.

When you're done sending your shit through about a week of 12hrs in freezer/12hrs in crock pot on WARM (do NOT go higher!  Don't fucking do it!  If your crock pot doesn't have WARM, get a different one.), filter out your glycerin or alcohol, press the plant matter through cheesecloth, and SAVE IT TO MAKE SOME BROWNIES!!!  The actives in cannabis will go into glycerin well, but there's plenty left to do a butter extraction for some lazytime cookies.

I'm assuming there will be a lot of questions...  I'll try to answer as much as I can.  Feel free to ask, I've literally made about 6000 1oz bottles of the shit in different variations.

Shit, I almost forgot to even say anything about the decarboxylation process...

I grind my weed/trim, put it on a cookie sheet, and bake it for 20 or 30 minutes at 300ºF.

Also, when using butter or oil (anything oil based, not glycerin), use a few tablespoons of lecithin for every pound of butter.  It acts as an emulsifier, allowing the normally oil-soluble THC to be broken down by parts of your digestive system that normally don't work on fats.  This means your shit will hit harder, faster, and be about 25% more potent than someone else's brownie who didn't use lecithin.

The rapid absorption of sugar gives me a body load...  Glycerin is basically ready for the body to use.  If you make it weak, and have to use half a fluid ounce to get high on your tincture, you will probably feel the effects of glycerin on your body.

Maybe it's just me...  Now I just make that shit stro-ong, so that it only takes a dropper or two.  It usually only takes about 10 to 15 minutes to start kicking in, and it's not enough glycerin to get negative effects from.

We used to get it from a supplier in Texas, but he recently referred us to his distributor, we were buying so much...  This last round, we got a 55 gallon barrel for less than 700 bucks.

We use food grade Kosher vegetable glycerin.

dude, just follow the steps for green dragon, and then let some evaporate.

Put the weed in some everclear.
let it sit for a day or two.  evaporate a little if you want it stronger.

Dip a cig into it.  The alcohol will evaporate soon, and then you can just smoke your cig.

The cig will have a slight greensih tint, but no one will notice unless they are close, and looking at it.

It makes the cig taste good, and the way I did it, one cig= about two hits from a one hitter.  I didn't evap the alcohol though.

I'm sure you could get the cig uber strong f you evaped some of the alky first.

Or, if you don't smoke, you can driink it an it'll take more to get high off of it, but you don't need to smoke it that way.

I would recommend you bake the frozen nugs in the oven at 200 degrees to convert the remaining oils into THC. Everclear also isn't the best solvent for use in Cannabis, I recommend you go read up on a Butane extraction process. FTW. :vaped:
