ive had a long history of ear problems, using qtips is a BIG no no.  water in the ear also has been something i try to avoid.  Peroxide in the ear :lol: don't...just don't.  If you happen to have a ruptered ear drum or tubes, and you put even a drop in your ear you will be rolling on the ground screaming like a girl and then prolly try to jump through a window

your best bet is going to a ear specialist, then have a tiny hand vacume they stick in your ear and can suck out all the bugs and lint

2nd worst advice. 

I have used Olive oil in the past with AMAZING results. Doctors orders.

One ear per night, a drop or 2 is all you need.  Tilt your head so it goes deep as possible, then turn over so it can leak out... 

and cover your pillow in an old case, cuz yer ear is gonna leak all night. 

Peroxide is also great IME.  As well, it has been said of recent that common cold and flu virus' may actually incubate in your ears and NOT your mouth and nose as first believed.  I have used peroxide in my ears even during full blown symptoms of a cold and by the next morning was totally cured, as has my wife and a few pals. 

Also, heroin.  But you know all about it.

I am definatly not taking your advice.

But anyways I did go to the docs they said my tubes were clogged cold pills have helped I can hear outta my left ear now but my right one is slightly clogged still

take a rag soak it in hot water, strain the excess water then lay it on your pillow with the clogged ear down.  Should work similar to those ear candles except you won't have to put anything into your ears.  Another option which was kind of already mentioned, was to put a drop of oil in your ear, my doc however told me to use sweet oil or something like that from near the pharmacy as i guess thats basically what they sell it for, and should be a bit more cleaner than say olive oil that some italians made with there feet

the nervous system is what is causing his pain (brain + nerves)
take a look at this picture. here you see the various nerves we are dealing with. one or some of them are not working right.



smoking or taking in any stimulant will exacerbate the pain in most cases, while it is true that you can use the high to break beyond that pain threshold.

meat does stimulate pain in cases where neuropathy occurs

Do You have sinus problems? I had a ear infection for awhile that ended with me being unable to move unless I chewed gum to relieve the pressure. I went to see a doctor and she said that it all started with a sinus infection that moved to my ear.

She gave me antibodics and some pain killer drops for my ear and it was gone in two days. I think you should go see a doctor.

Whenever I get sick I tell them I have ear pain to get seen ever faster cause ear pain means you have something serious going on.
