Case smells like feet?

My friend has a casing that he did a few days ago that now smells like dirty feet. No visual sign of contams, though.

WTF is this shit?

I had this same problem with one of my first casings. I sprayed it with peroxide and the smell went away. Then three days later it all turned green and mushy.I think you are doomed.sorry.

Sounds like a bacterial infection.When it happened I posted in the contam. forum and they told me to throw it away.I was stubborn and tried to save it. I lost it anyway!

Yeah, theres a good chance that bacterial contamination is whats making it smell like that.

My friend is going to put it in the fridge until the temp is right to fruit it outdoors. Its nasty, though.
