Hey all,
I checked on my incubator today, the one that has like 2" of 30% peroxide in the bottom and what do i see but white things, looks like something i found in water that smelled FOUL before. This was in 30% peroxide! I think i killed it now, peroxide+bleach+ammonia+rubbing alcohol! And no it didnt explode if you wanted to know.
Has anyone else every seen contams not die from peroxide??

peroxide smells like stinky feet... did it smell like that?

bleach plus ammonia =bad poison, I hope you aren't anywhere near that incubator, for god's sakes open a window, mixing those two can kill you, but eventually, like all things, they stop reacting, just don't do that again.

Strange but the peroxide out of the bottle smelt like absolutly nothing. I have 4 different brands of peroxide, all different strenghts as well and none of them had any odor at all.
But yes, it did smell like stinky feets....

it doesnt smell like that straight out of the bottle only when its put on stuff... put some peroxide on your hand and smell it...
and yes... bleach and ammonia is a deadly mixture.. if breathed in it will burn the fiber hairs in your lungs.. this happend to a lady i used to know but she was ok...

Yea he better watch it, right danelectro i remember a few year back when i was into LowOrderExplosives i used to use that 2 comp mix to makes 20oz, and 1 Liter bottle bombs.

If you put 1 drop of ammonia on a 1" square of aluminum foil it makes hydrogen gas. I tried it, its pretty cool when you leave the ammonia on the aluminium foil for 10 mins and open the container its in with a lit match. A nice little fireball poppes out .
