i was walking down the beach and my active-radar went off i scurried to a near log and found these, sweet to see a blue/green on a gym, rare in these parts.

Nice finds Trig! I found something that looks really similar this season.

Also with the same blackish bruising...

I wonder what the hell they are...:yesnod:

Nice finds Trigger:thumbup:
Your finds there look like my latest "new" WI gym find from this spring
-here is a quick pic of my find.... i found mine n a pine forest upnorth - as opposed to my normal g.luteus found on hardwood stumps

- did you find yours n a diff habitat than the BLG's or Luteus>>>????

Badass finds - the purple at the apex of the stems is really neat - that alone made me keep studying my find upnorth!!

And you gotta love the green./blue staining

the caps on yours n mine look really really close n similar
and they both have evident bruising!!

 to the great midwestern bruising Gyms:headbanger:

here are some cropped pics to get more detail there.
#1#2 #3 nice for my wife to fix the pics
in pic #2 the spore color can be seen on the gym to the left.
all of the gyms had tones of orange, yellow, slight red and the busing had tones of dark gray, light blue/black and blue green, more so in the gym pictured in #3.
i had a feeling that i have picked these before maybe it was this i am not sure tho, it was just a feeling, that pic is 3 years old, and was taken on a flood plane.
the gyms pictured in the op were taken near the beach, the log they were growing from was a really old ship post, around 100-200 years old, i do believe they used tamarack trees back then for dock or ship posts.
anyways it would be nice to know the correct name, and thanks much guys for the inputs.
