I would think that a bottle of pills would be a bit more suspect than a box of chocolates. I always cram my carry on with massive bars of Cadbury's chocolate that they sell at the tax free shops in the airport to give to my family. They never give them a second glance.

Diff'rent strokes

An Echinacea bottle containing pills that don't smell and look almost identical to echinacea pills.......packed into a toiletry bag along with your toothbrush, vitamins, etc., and put into your checked luggage, to me seems less suspect than homemade chocolates wrapped in re-used wrappers and crammed into a carry on.

From what I gather, sniffer dogs aren't trained to sniff mushrooms.
