removing the wrong casing layer

peat vermiculite and dolomite lime mix was used for the casing layer,,mycelium nicely grown thorough,,altough no pins for 10 days,,and some advises from here ,today i removed the casing untli the grain,and excanged,with the correct lime peat vermi mix will this work or a waste of energy both side??

well, i would have advised patience...but now that it's done i'd put it in the incubator and wait until the myc pokes through, then put it in your fruiting set up. remember, water is the key to this hobby...don't overmist.
