Help me settle a disagreement between me and my friend

I was talking about making my top 100 songs list. Five of them are my favorite. He disagrees that five tied at number would mean it's a 104 song list. I disagree, cause five of the songs are all on the same level. I don't have to type "songs" after "100" on my list, since it's, my list. What do you think?

Yeah there are only 100 songs even if they tie.  So if two songs tie for first then there is no second place it jumps to third.
