Yeah you can spray the box w/lysol, then just keepem in there with the top on(no light), temp. is the important thing now, 80-85 is best..When there about 50% colonized you can flipem over to speed-up groowth..goodluck

Thanks juan! one more thing, would it be a good idea to give the box a light misting of Lysol maybe every other day to fight contam? I don't mean spraying the jars directly but maybe a quick little spray at the box, or can this be bad for the colonizing substrate? I just wanna have things as clean as possible..thanks

The one spraying is enough. they like being left alone in the beginning

I like to use a rubbermaid type container with a syn. filter disc in the bottom for CO2 drainage. And after it has colonized you can place container in the light and help advance mycelial growth without exposing to unnecessary contaminates.
