One or a few mutations would not explain the bone having a different composition, so that it is thinner, yet stronger, having a structure much more like Enamel of teeth, than bone as we know it. This is very abnormal, and there are no such mutations ever in recorded history to have caused this enamel-like property in anyone's bones, EVER in all of recorded history.

As for Hydrocephalus, if you are familiar with that disorder, you will understand that it may enlarge the skull slightly over time in young children who's bones are still soft, but even then, the enlargement is rather insignificant. The reason that enlargement of the ventricles (spaces) of the brain during hydrocephalus does not enlarge the skull very much is because it mainly just compresses the brain tissue against the inside of the skull as the intracranial pressure increases, but even then, Hydrocephalus most certainly does not explain even a significant fraction of the other anomalies, such as the lack of occipital protuberances on the exterior of the skull (could not have been caused by increased intracranial pressure from Hydrocephalus), the stronger, enamel-like bone composition, the abnormally shallow eye sockets, the unheard of difficulties in extracting the nuclear DNA, etc. etc. etc.

Hydrocephalus is a very common disorder, and there are numerous cases each year. Again, I hate to repeat myself, but there are NO HUMAN ABNORMALITIES, MUTATIONS, DISORDERS, OR MANIPULATIONS in our recorded history (including medical history), that can explain this skull. Even if the skull turns out to be 100% human, it is still completely novel, unlike any other skull ever observed in all of recorded history, and will be looked back on as a signficant historical artifact.

It is cool to hold an opinion, but please try to make it as educated one as possible. Don't be afraid to ask health care experts their opinion too, such as "Could Hydrocephalus cause all these things?".

That simple question alone would allow you to understand that Hydrocephalus, without a doubt, cannot account for all these anomalies, but even then, that doesn't mean that the skull has alien DNA in it. Just saying, we all owe it to ourselves to seek the truth and use evidence to find that truth, and not to illogically 'short ourselves' by trying to fill in the hole with whatever we think "could" explain it. Let the evidence do the talking, and in this scenario, there is not enough evidence to draw a solid conclusion yet, other than the conclusion that the mother of this organism was a human.

I am excited to learn more about the father once the nuclear DNA is recovered, sequenced, and analyzed, so until then, I am just playing the waiting game.

Cheers everyone!

Can it not be http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Head_flattening ?

This was done by the Maya and the skull was found in a Maya region, dated around Maya time.

Even if that is somehow ruled out (I would like to see the evidence) there is no evidence for aliens. This "researcher" is already sure about alien involvement without any evidence except for no existing skull like this. You shouldn't be surprised that most of us don't trust him. He should be very aware of any wishful thinking, as any scientist should.

You have yet to present even a shred of evidence that the bone is not of normal mammalian bone composition.

Subject: RE: question

Abe:

Those "findings" come from a man named Steven Novella and Wikipedia. Back in 1999, the year I got the skulls, there were six labs in the world that could recover ancient DNA (SC is 900 years old). None of the six would touch it. So we tried for a forensic lab that wasn't equipped properly and they screwed it up, insisting they had a very tiny bit of recovery (200 picograms when the minumum is normally 1000). That claimed recovery was indeed an X and a Y, but they had already contaminated two batches with worker DNA, and we were confident this was a contamination, too. However, they insisted it wasn't and they announced it as such, which Novella, a well-known skeptic, seized upon.

In 2003 we got a real recovery from a real ancient DNA lab (there were 24 of them in 2003). That lab showed conclusively that the nuclear DNA the first lab claimed they recovered could not possibly have been accurate because they could not recover it in six full attempts. It simply wasn't recoverable with the primer technology of 2003, so the first lab was wrong or lied or whatever. In any case, I eventually asked Novella and Wikipedia for a retraction and a correction, and both have refused, sticking with the original utterly wrong result because that's what they want to believe rather than the truth, which is clear and obvious to anyone who makes any effort to search for it.

You're getting into a field that is rotten at its core, my friend. I wish you well in it, but if you think for yourself, as you seem to do, watch your back at all times.....

Lloyd

Hehe no problem  keep us posted on your mailing list, I eagerly await the complete DNA analysis.

Many people are skeptical after finding out that the mother is human, and some people dwell on the ‘findings’ (I have not verified them yet), which claim that there was an X and Y chromosome found in the skull’s DNA, which has led some skeptics to conclude that the dad must have also been human. I have not been able to verify the findings of the X and Y chromosomes, but I suspect that even if this is true, that such an alien-human hybrid could have both an X and a Y, while having other ‘alien’ genes introduced into the human DNA.

Any thoughts on this? I bet you are busy, so we can end this exchange whenever, but I figured I would ask really quick.

Thanks,

-Abe

Hey Mr. Middle,

I have not viewed the video because I am in the middle of my medical school finals. They make us take 9 classes (30 credits) of grad-level medical science courses each semester, but I am down to my last 3 finals!!!

Should I watch the whole video after finals? Or do you think it is a better use of my time to just watch the part you are referring to?

I will have a lot more free time starting Friday May 21st when I get done with finals, hehe, so please let me know what you think and I will check it out.

ChuangTzu,

You must be extremely lazy, and this is why I ignored your posts. I am not here to prove anything to anyone, including you. I am here to share information I found interesting, and to defend any inaccurate claims made about this topic or any accusations or implications that I am gullible and/or being "fooled" by this. Evidence is what I use to draw my conclusions, evidence which I have personally taken the time to search for and read up on, while looking more into topics like this one.

If you want information, go find it, because I am not some library that will go retrieve information for you whenever you request it or demand it. You are an intelligent person just like me, that is capable of reading up on and looking into any topic he wishes. If you care about this topic, then look into it, but do not put the pressure on me to convince you and post evidence for you just because you are unwilling to go find it yourself (and it is very easy to find).

I could careless what you believe in regards to this skull, but I strongly encourage you to find evidence-based answers to your questions, and to take all evidence into account before formulating your beliefs.

This is a one time thing:

Basic Facts about the Skull: http://starchildproject.com/skull_overview.htm

>  The skull's bone is about half as thick as normal human bone.

>  The bone weighs about half as much as normal human bone.

>  The bone is substantially stronger than any known bone on planet Earth, with a mineral profile more like dental enamel than bone.

>  The bone was radio carbon dated in 2003 to be 900 years old (+/- 40 years).

>  The skull was reportedly found in an abandoned mine tunnel in the Copper Canyon region about 200 miles SW of Chihuahua, Mexico.

>  The skull is morphologically unique, and does not match the physical profile of any known human deformity.

>  The bone of the skull contains an as yet unidentified reddish residue that had never been seen before in bone (this is not desiccated bone marrow).

>  The bone of the skull contains microscopic fibers that have never been seen before in the bone of any animal.

>  Attempts to recover DNA from the skull easily produced its mitochondrial DNA, which proved its mother was fully human. However, no nuclear DNA could be recovered using human-only primers, which strongly indicates that the skull's father was something other than a typical human

Please make up your own mind about this skull, but please keep your mind OPEN until the full genome is sequenced. We should have the results in the next 1.5 years, so stay tuned. There is a mailing list you can sign up for if you really care, just go to: http://www.starchildproject.com/

Those experts only agree that the skull is large and has a strange shape. It's only Lloyd Pye and his companion Dr. Ted J. Robinson who make the other claims.

these are not alien skulls, they are humans, maybe humanoids! but I believe this is where the classic grey alien depiction comes from. maybe they are those humans from the future! probably not though
