Digital Art Tablets?

I've been researching online at digital art tablets like this one.

I am curious if anyone has one like this and if someone could tell me how they like them.

I am a sketch artist(not for a living but for a hobby) and I would love to use this to sketch on the computer.
maybe some advice as to which one I should get or a review perhaps.

get a less expensive one. they're all basically the same. preform the same function.

I'm an animator and use a wacom bamboo tablet, works fine. $50~$100 or so

I'm looking for one right now and I narrowed it down to two Cintiq models and am currently thinking about buying the 21":
Drawing directly on the screen is extremely important to me, so I cannot buy a regular tablet.

i had a boss in a tech shop who was Chinese.

his mom loved the wacom tablets cause she could email her family back in China by just writing out whatever symbols they use.. i would assume that, with that crazy ass alphabet, its a hell of a lot easier to just write the symbol.

thats the best reason ive ever heard, that is non-artistic, to get a wacom pad thing.

either way, she/they liked it.

the cintiq are sooo cool but there so god damn fucking expensive! I have about a million and a half questions about these thing. how do u know where on the art ur drawing if u don't see ur sketch right on the tablet? I cant imagine myself doing the same quality of art as I do know with out drawing right on the tablet. maybe I'm missing something.

the cintiq are the only ones iv seen with the ability to see ur art on the tablet. I know with the wacom intuos4 u have a a large arrey of control of shading and such but do the bamboo have the same art capacity? Iv heard the bamboo fun is the best of the bamboo line, true?

I found them super hard to use. If you are not used to them I
would not invest in one unless you are serious about using them.
