i dunno how much i'd trust that vendor if he was giving instructions for syringe making like that. :frown:

I dont care about the vendor that said that LINK because I have no need to use any other vender then The Little Guy, super fast always, just thought that was a neet idea for making a couple backup syringes when you get a good harvest

Yeah give it a try.......cuz i sure wouldn't....
I dont see how water in an unopened cap would produce mushrooms...
Since you need either spores or a piece of tissue from inside the cap....
just water touching it wouldn't do anything and i think it would be a waste...plus i've never heard of this before, but that doesnt mean anything, and if someone can give some reasons while this WOULD work id like to hear em! :tongue:

The idea is to make a spore syringe not start new growth. Sounds like it would work and since my GT's are pinning I might just have to give it a try.

Thats great....
But dont mushrooms start spore production after the veil tears?  If the idea is to make a "spore" syringe how would injecting water into a mushroom cap that hasn't started its spore cycle help make a spore syringe?

I dont mean to be a downer on this tek...but it needs more explanation. :grin:

I could very well be wrong. By your first post I thought you might be thinking that mycelium tissue may be transfered (refering to stem tissue ) and thats why I said what I said about the new growth. I assumed that spore production began before the veil tears, but since the spores have no where to go they are stuck in the gills until they may fall freely to the ground. If in fact they are not produced until after breakage then this wont work all to well, but other wise I think it will take a way a few useless steps to making syringes.

Well, im not exactly sure if they ONLY produce spores after the veil tears but if not, i cant see how this tek is plausible...

Someone else asked if this place was any good, so I went to the site to check it out as I never heard of it, and saw that thing about the GT Syringe.
