I glad,this is a great idea,and I never would have thought to search for a procedure to produce co2.Do you still use this Mitch?

I still use it to this day underwater in my aquarium.
I pretty much eyeball the ratios and feel the temps.
last run ran smooth and steady for a month before the yeast stopped.

never used the closed space idea for growing plants tho.

however I did do a few 2 litre ferments attached to fans.

my buddy was doing the grow, he never really bothered to keep the fan on, or the ferment watched, and furthermore the whole grow got munched by the borg.

that was a couple years back. now we pretty much just do it in swamps, works better than any indoor situation.

is there a meter that measures c02 and oxygen in the air?
as you would want a good idea on how your going? would you not?????

There certainly is. Many commercial houses use automated systems to monitor and manage levels of CO2.

the meter i have cost me 100 bucks but it hooks to my co2 regulator to turn the tank on and off. The best way to go is with a co2 tank. Who wants the smell of some shit fermenting in the closet.

There is another way to produce CO2 without any problems, there are CO2 little tanks for making cream, just use them without the cream inside the cream wiper...
