Would anyone know if there is any specific herbs that make drinking seem undesirable or sickening?

Some mushrooms of the Coprinus genus produce a chemical called Coprine. When alcohol and coprine mix the user gets violently ill. It will make you wish you never took that sip. It's kinda like natural antabuse. But mushrooms need to be carefully identified and only certain members of the Coprinus genus contain this chemical. However, some coprinus are quite tasty, so it would be no problem getting the medicine down. Please refer to the Mushroom Hunting forum for more info on these guys, they know much more about this there.

yup, I was gonna mention that as well.

C. atramentarius is cited as having these effects reliably. they're also pretty common and easy to find, but they don't store well, turning to black ink after a few hours...

I'm not sure I even want to know how you made that discovery...hehe.

My wife always wants to drink on the weekends, the next thing i know it's two  in the afternoon the next day and I'm hungover. I need a secret weapon :rocket:

I thought that I'd read about an herb that has those effects, must have been a dream :crazy:

You may want to do alittle research on sceletium tortuosum (Kanna). On many vendor sites it is said that sceletium has been used to rehibilitate alcoholics. I can see how it would work, and I also think it would help rehibilitate cocaine and meth addicts too. Basically it's an incredible mood enhancer. Nothing I know of has come close in this regard. When small amounts of alchohol are consumed along with kanna, the effects can be pretty enjoyable, but if anymore than a small amount of alchohol is comsumed, you will develop some very undesirable side effects. Most people claim these side effects are most often manifisted in a headache, but a friend of mine said when he mixed a moderate amount of alchohol with kanna, he developed some serious body aches, around the neck and shoulders, like he had a strong fever or flu. Mixing kanna and alchohol generally seems to be quite unhealthy unless they are combined in small amounts occasionally. I'm not really sure if kanna is what you're looking for, it may actually make small amounts of alchohol more appealing, but medium to large amounts of alchohol will certainly be undesirable.

I'm pretty sure kanna would also work great to ease hangovers if that's the problem. Kanna will put you into a good mood and give you energy.

Wow Neon, five shrooms to you. I have had some premium kanna for awhile now, and I'm aware of the mood enhancement, but had not heard of the side effect with alcohol.
