Anyone else's LCD monitor make a...

weird noise often? It's not even a click... but a noise like it is being squeezed... if that makes sense. I hear it most of the time when I'm trying to fall asleep at night.

When I shut mine off, it sounds as if the screen is breathing
I've even looked at it closely and it seems like it sucks in dust.
kind of freaks me out :lol:

I have a 23'' Acer. I was wondering if the quartz in it was picking up some some other frequencies or something. :eek:

yeah, when i turn off my computer the screen makes a hissing sound.
pretty annoying when your're trying to get to sleeep :tongue:

i fix it by either turning everything off at the wall plug, or unplugging the power cable to the moniter :bigjoint:

mine has a switch on the side similar to a power supply switch, i turn it off that way every night due to the squeeling.  The noise is from the little piggys that are running on a wheel inside your monitor.  If your wondering why they are in there its because everyone loves bacon and they help prime the transformers

the sound is coming from the monitor itself, not the speakers?  or does it have built in speakers?

My advice is to find those things that give pleasure and do them often without too much attachment and relax and wait for the show to end.

I like free markets and all. Truly I do, at least in general, but there needs to be some kind of oversight in recognition of sustainability. Life works the same way, on a bunch of sustainable systems. Why not honor what made us what we are and take some lessons? Nature FTW!
