Plastic epoxies are great... If you rough the two surfaces with sandpaper first, then epoxy... you should never have a problem with it again. :smile:

2 part epoxy works grate for ridged plastic and glass JB weld is the best .
for polyfilm (like if your'e makeing a tent)contact cement, because its flexable .
and for glueing tyvek to a plastic bag i use this

hi-temp silicone . i find that the thiner you spread this the tighter the bond . 

edit; btw this pic was taken with an aiptek pencam they are cheap, but still take prety good pics .i got mine for free :smile:

I use a product called "Plumber's Goop", found at my local Home Depot. It dries clear (and hasn't yellowed in the last year), is a little rubbery, and sticks better than anything I've ever used. I've even used it to repair a crack in the bottom of a Sterilite bin that had to hold water. Solid stuff!

I was coming to post plumbers goop in the purple tube.
That stuff is the shit it stays flexable. I actually ripped the heal off my boots on a camping trip and used the goop to glue it back.
Still got the boots and never had a problem 1 year later.
I've also sealed my pool liner with it for small holes.
