Epoxy that will stand up to PC temps?
    #3937463 -

Here is an excerpt from Nan's long needle syringe tek:

"Mount the old needle base gently in a vise or clamp of some type and carefully drill out the aluminum press fit nipple that held the stainless steel needle. Drill the aluminum press fitted nipple from the inside out.

Insert the cleaned metal tubing down into the plastic nipple, and push it through until an inch or two is left extending from the inside of the plastic nipple. Carefully apply some epoxy to end of the tubing with a toothpick or nail. Then pull it down into the nipple and twist it gently to settle the epoxy in. Make sure the epoxy will not obstruct fluids from passing through the assembly. Hold together with tape, best if gently cured under a heat lamp. "

I tried to use some permatex high temp gasket maker for this, but it didn't adhere very well.  Is there a specific type of expoxy that should be used that will withstand PC'ing?  Thanks.

I used a 3500 psi expoxy to fix the handle on my pc. Worked like a charm and it's cast aluminum. You can get it at Wally World in the sandpaper and adhesive section by paint.

Oh, I just have a 6" aluminum tube that is going to replace the needle. I filed it off on one end to it's sharp and will pierce tyvek. I have some mix epoxies normally use for hobby shit--the stuff that you mix and it cures in 15 minutes or so.
Whatcha think?

I'm sure that any type of epoxy will work fine. The stuff I was telling ya about is in the 2 black tubes in one. Epoxy in one and the hardener in the other. There are psi ratings on the package. 1500 will work great for that purpose.
