Shotgun Terrarium

I have two cantainers with look like the ones in the picture below.
This is a picture i found off Google its exactly like these two containers but empty of course.

I think they are 15" wide and 35" in height.
I'm thinking of cutting the top off one because it is slighlty damaged.
Can i use this for the shotgun tek?
And if i can, what can i put on the top as a lid or should i leave the top?

Well those were rough estimations but the actual measurements are 10-11" wide and a height of 18". :grin:

And yeah i have to cut to the tops off to put the cakes in there anyway.

I'll try it anyways. I don't know how much perlite i need in there.

You can pick up a sheet of clear acrylic at lowes/home depot/ace hardware for about $3 that will make an excellent lid.

Thats what i was hoping to use but had no idea where to find them. Will make sure to take a trip to the nearest home depot.

You'll usually find that crap in the windows/doors section. Might have to ask though sometimes they seem to be hidden.
