Our Tax Dollars Pay for THIS?! *UPDATED*

This is what our tax dollars are paying for, and it pisses me off:

Big thanks to WikiLeaks for helping restore honesty and truth in journalism.

I donated $25 to them after seeing this video.

No one deserves to die like that, especially the children! Out on the job, shooting some footage, walking around with your camera, and then BOOM, dead. What a waste of a good life, what a waste of a good father, who knows how angry his children will now grow up to be...

...and who knows how much this incident alone has increased the risk of another terrorist attack on our country. by occupying the middle east, we are inspiring people to fight against us. if instead we were waging peace throughout the world, no one would want to hurt us, for we would be ending suffering rather than creating it.

I want PEACE, and I want it soon. Please push for peace in everything you do. As we become more and more influential in society, we can help bring PEACE to this world. Do not tolerate WAR, it solves nothing unless there is a Hitler-like dictator that needs to be taken down. WAGE PEACE, UNCONDITIONALLY, and NO ONE WILL HATE OUR COUNTRY BECAUSE WE WILL BE HELPING OTHERS TO LIVE BETTER LIVES.

No wonder terrorists attack us.

Sorry for the emotional content, but this stuff just pisses me off. It was too important not too share, so please do not hate on me for sharing this important video.

Hoping Peace comes sooner than later…

It is real, and beyond horrifying.

We have such crazy paranoid anti-terrorism laws in the US, BECAUSE of events like this.
We have to be worried, because we are murderers and terrorists in THEIR country.

FFS people. RPG Tube at 4:13 - 4:20.

The men in the air engaged the Iraqis to protect not only themselves but also the ground element that was nearby (and under fire). Some people claim that the tube is a camera. It doesn't really matter now if it was. It looked like an RPG tube and it was aimed towards the helicopter, putting them in danger. These people are in life threatening situations, they can't afford to take a risk.

If they take a risk and it turns out to be a bad gamble, they end up dead, and the same people that complain about them shooting at Iraqis will be complaining about the American Government sending "our boys" to the grave. It's opportunism, and it's disgusting.

Dude seriously what is 1 terrorist attack?
The biggest terrorist attack on the US killed like 3K people (US pop is like 300 mil, so like 1 in 100K people dead).
The US retaliated and fucked their shit up bad (combined estimates for both wars= 1.2 mil killed (mostly civilians in Iraq) and 2mil serously injured)
(like 1 out of 23 people in Iraq got killed from US/coalition attacks)


The countries these terrorists come from are poor as fuck, and can't pose a serious threat to the world as time goes on
Do you know why? its cuz the US is really far away from these countries so their options for attack are intensly limited. 
Plus each time they blow themselves up, there are less of them in the world



Bottom line- why waste ur life/time with such stupid shit?
Look at it this way
If we were helping (or giving money) to everyone, then that would cause way more suffering.
Like, if we gave all those middle eastern countries money and guns like we do currently to Israel, do you think that they will all live happy and shit?
They are fighting wars over religion
Like everyone has different beliefs on what group of people are superior, so people will continue to fight wars till the end of time



Things are the way they are for a reason
Seriously, you are really lucky to live in the US, cuz no joke we live like kings compared to how they live over there. So enjoy ur peace n shit and dont waste time worrying about all the trivial what if's in life

Finally, someone who actually FEELS how shitty this is.

It was on the TV today and it showed the part with the little girl and the sarcastic comments about her death after.

My dad said "It doesn't matter... we're in a war" I said it does matter she was an innocent little girl!

Then he reiterated himself and I flipped shit.

Yeah, it's upsetting. Civilian casualties always are.

I will certainly stand up for the soldiers though. They did what was right in their minds at the time with the limited knowledge they had. I would have done the same thing in their position.

In short, what I think all my posts on this subject (there have been 2 threads) have been trying to get at is:

RIP Civilian Casualties, may you be the very last.
God Bless the Soldiers, you are not to blame.

What do you mean where is the RPG? The RPG APPEARS to be seen around 4:13 - 4:20.

You can't pretend that the soldiers knew everything that you know now, years after the incident. They only knew what they saw in the video as it unfolded.

Like I asked, it looked to me like everyone in the area got hit with a shit storm of bullets.

I looked closer at the video, yes, there is something that could definitely be an RPG pointed up for a moment at the helicopter before the helicopter's camera moved out view.

so the man who actually possessed the RPG got away, while all those other men huddled together (stupid as that may be b/c they were allegedly hanging around a man w/ an RPG) decided to stand around until the bullets started flying?

if the helicopter you were attempting to fire at came back into view from behind some buildings, would you in your right mind huddle together, or would you instead of scatter like a roach?
