How are the growkits that are sold in the netherlands made?

Hi there. I was wondering if anyone knew how the growkits that are sold in Amsterdam and throughout the Netherlands assembled. What materials do they use? Even if you do not know exactly how they are made but have a rough idea, your input would be recieved with much gratitude.

Don't buy one of those crappy kits. I've never seen a good review on these. Also, for the money you spend on one, you could easily get started doing the PFTEK method.
Remember, no crappy kit's. Study, study, study!

How can you say these kits are crappy? I'm guessing you've never had one?

Some people don't have the time to grow from scratch and these kits are easy as pie.

As to what's in them,it's just some substrate with spores injected into them.

They are crappy for the amount of mushrooms they can produce compared to price paid for them and the lack of knowledge gained throughout the whole process

Agreed.
If you just want a kit for fun, like an expensive pet, that's fine. But it's a lame way to get mushrooms

Of course it is better to grow from scratch. I have been doing it that way for a while now. I just wanted to know how they are assembled for informational purposes. If anyone could help it would be great!!

I heard a rumor that the kits were made of dead Swedish children and they are assembled by Indonesian kids in sweat shops in Mexico that are funded by Nazi's! :happyhitler: or something like that.

I remember when fresh shrooms were legal you could buy a kit for and 20 g of cubes for £35 in 'The Amsterdam of London'. This was the easiest thing back then, you didnt need to grow shrooms from square one even tho you knew it was the best thing to do, you could buy them and when they were getting old the prices would be so low you could pay £20 (same price as an 8th of skunk back in those days) for 50 g. I only started growing from scratch when fresh shrooms were criminalised, looking back it was blessing in disguise and if they suddenly became legal overnight I wouldn't stop growing them. I suppose its different for people in USA shrooms have always been illegal so the only way to get some would be to grow or hunt, there was never the option of buying legally.

The kits on their own cost £30 and came pre-colonised in a clear large plastic takeaway tub they were made from rye and verm res-effect style, and a filter patch bag. I dont know the how much of each but im guessing 50-50. We were told to take the sub block out of the tray dunk it overnight, put it back into the tray and put the whole tray inside the FP bag, fold the top over and wait. They worked and you would get about 4 trips worth. They claimed to yield up to 300g.

DYI mercks the kit, no contest, cheaper and funner. Kind of like skunk weed but do you think all weed smokers in Holland grow their own gear?
