I've had growth in honey water within hours of inc. Your water looks good so far.

Might be, when I tried the honeywater tech I had excellent results in under 3 days.

i pured boiling water from the kettle into a jar stired in
about 2 drops of honey.Micro waved for 1 min  allowed to cool then
got an old bag of dryed liberty caps from earlyer in the session(before i found the shroomery)picked out some of the bigger caps and opened them over the jar in a glove box gave them a little scrape did the lid up and incubated at 80?f for 30 hours.Its just something to do untill i can get some live tissue in spring :smile:

Next time you might try adding a bit more honey, I used 1-2 teaspoons, and it colinized real quick, and you could really see the micelium.

Just a suggestion, but very nice indeed.

Could you perhaps take a picture without the flash, and holding it towards the light, so we can better see the water and mycelium.

Hmmmm. If you've used mushies that were growing outdoors I really can't imagine they'd be clean enough to just scrape into the honey water...surely they'd be contaminated with whatever other spores/bacteria/crap was blowing around the field. What do you intend doing with liberty cap mycelium anyway?

Yeah im expecting some contams
but hope to isolate some thing cleaner after a few
transpheres onto peroxidated agar.

I did one jar with 2 drops of honey 1 with half a tea spoon
and 1 with no honey at all.

The 2 drop jar is the only one showing signs of life so far.But this
one got the best dryed cap and i actually saw a fine dust drop from
the cap into the jar on this one.

I have many plans and experiments awaiting some lib mycelium.
But the hope is to find an indoor cultivation tek that produces fruits.

As im sure that when the key is found libs will be easy to grow.
As ive witnessed them growing in a range of habitats.

P.s will take a better pic when this hangover has subsided :smile:
