i want to watch it again as well.

last night, i was stuck in the middle of town with nowhere to sleep and no forests to camp in.  i ended up laying out my tarp and sleeping bag up on some rocks in this tiny ass park.  i kept wishing my tarp was one of those awesome elvish cloaks that seem to take the color of their surroundings, so i could be disguised as one of the rocks like frodo and sam do as the orcs march passed.

incidentally, i've worked with some of the same people over the past few years in various restaurants.  among that crowd, i am known as Froto (with a T, not a D).  or more specifically, Froto Bussins aka Frotorius Maximillius.

Tahoe area was the best place i've ever hiked.

I am thru hiking the west coast trail on Vancouver island mid summer. Super stoked, never done anything like it before. We're hiking every weekend to prepare.

Urban hiking can me fun if you are in the city, find some hills in your town.

The outdoors is great, I suggest:

Zion, Moab, Arches, and Bryce Canyon in Utah.

Idaho is great in the Sawtooth, Frank Church, Selway-Bitterroot National Forests.

Oregon at Strawberry Mountain is great.

Go nuts, find new places!
