The new glarus stuff was pretty good. They seem to be much lighter on the hops than a lot of west coast stuff ive had in the past which was kind of a refreshing change. The stuff was very drinkable to say the least

PNW is waaay better for micros then anywhere in the country except maybe Colorado...

I love Sierra Navada Beers. I also think PNW area of the states has good craft beer. MI also has good craft beers.

Im probably just an extremely biased Sconnie, but you cant compare a region to a single state.
We just take a lot of pride in the things were good at here I guess. Beer, cheese, brats, Packers, tasty beef, farmers markets, and to a lesser extent, cranberries.
You know how Texas has a lot of that self pride? Its kind of like that here, just without the redneck aspect of it. :lol:
:shrug: I dont know, I love this place! I couldn't imagine living any place else....except maybe Hawaii, only I do like winter.

For an interesting beer with a hint of fruit try Leinenkugels 'Honey Berry'. Mix 1/2 a bottle of 'Honey Weiss' with 1/2 a bottle of 'Berry Weiss'. Its delicious! Especially in the Summer.

Berry Weiss on its own is too fruity for me, but its great when mixed with Honey Weiss.
