Exercise for my pregnant fiance
    #12156086 -

So my fiance is pregnant. I will admit she is a bit more out of shape than I wish she was. She is pretty healthy though, she's never smoked and only used to drink on occasion.

She has had "morning" sickness pretty bad. She is about 11 weeks in, so almost to the second trimester. She doesn't have any drive or energy for the past month or so. I want to get her exercising on a regular basis but I know she won't go to a gym. I want something she could do at home that won't cost an arm and a leg since obviously I'm trying to cut costs now that we're expecting.

I'm open for all kinds of suggestions. So please help me out.

She should do light dumb bells or something easy, but its still good.

Exercise is ALWAYS good, but intense exercise is a NO go for pregnant ladies.

As the pregnancy continues, she should be exercising even less intensely than the beginning

Its pretty normal for a woman to get tired, the extra baby weight is wearing her down probably.

If she starts exercising, make sure she drinks PLENTY of water and make sure she has a good diet (which she should be doing anyway for the baby at the very least..)

Cheers!

Incase you didn't know - you should have your wife take "fish oil" in liquid form (swansons brand is mercury free and comes highly recommended)

Heres a related article: http://www.blisstree.com/babylune/pregnant-women-postpartum-women-and-fish-oil/
