I am very upset to hear that he is gone. It's hard to absorb. I wans't very close to ripper, but talked to him in irc and enjoyed doing so. My condolences to those who knew him better than me.

There's been a lot of blaming going on, and I think that's one of the worst things we can do right now. Blaming others won't bring him back, although I wish it did. I hope we can learn from all of this. If you're going to do that shit, BE CAREFUL.

As I said, I knew him but we weren't close.. But it somehow doen'st matter to me right now. I can't believe he's gone.

Please learn from it and be careful

Okay, I am also pretty pissed off about all this. But in no way shape or form is this place all about the money. These guys barely make enough to keep the server online and for a long while they didnt even make that much. I do agree that a bit more needs to be done about not incouraging the use of drugs to extremes and chemicals should just not really be included. This site did not make the decisions of an individual and there is a reason that everything happens. Perhaps as a leading online drug community, we should take steps. Maybe that should be a link section to other sites that are informative, places that focus on other drugs and perhaps have more people there that know the tolls they can take and offer wisdom and see signs better,-- Ill get it together if the other drug forum is removed.

I've talked to ripper on many an occasion in the last 3 years. Although I cannot say I knew of his hearts desires, and I have not been around lately to watch the spiral into harder drug use. Perhaps it was always there, but I assure you it was never this balls out there. He was intelligent, misguided, looking for the same escapes, excitements and realities that we all are. I'm sorry I wasnt here that night. Because frankly, I would have phoned the police and I hope in the future if anything like this occurs we take it seriously, now I understand the deeds of people in the past and cannot believe this happened. I dont mean to preach I just dont think any of this shit is worth dying for and I hate the society that makes us feel like we cannot report something because we could get in trouble-- but trouble is sure as hell better then death. Regardless of that you dont know how great death could be shit, we were made to live. Pnut died on Feb 5th of 1999 and by god I hope we are not doomed to repeat these things over and over again. I only hope that there is some peace for Brandon.

Hi all...I am Ripper's (Brandon's) oldest brother Rich and found this site through his guestbook. I just wanted to post and say thanks for all who expressed condolences to our family.
I have been managing things on this end regarding arrangements, so if any of you have questions on that, you can e-mail me personally at rvedas@hotmail.com. I will probably not be visiting this site often, so that would be the preferred method of communication.
I do hope that Brandon's death not only brings sadness, but that some good can come out of it in the form of a wake up call to those that may have been living a similiar lifestyle.

you know its scary but I have read a few of rippers post and this one just stood out.

i didn't know ripper personally but i really feel too sad about his death :frown: i feel like shit from the time i read this post. i think that a few fuckin pills don't worth as a man's life.

I don't belive i crossed path's with "ripper" in my short time here at the shroomery, but I feel for any close friends of his, and any one else grieving his passing.... But chance's are he had a good soul, and he's living it up somewhere in his new body..

I liked ripper alot. He was super nice to me in IRC and stuff. It's sad to see him leave us. :frown:

I didn't know Brandon, but a loss is a loss and its sad. Very tuff lesson learned for all.  My condulences to all that knew him as a friend.

Definately tragic.

My coldolences to this community where his presence was so strong. It is rare when this happens to one of our members, and this is sad news.
