First off I would like to congratulate my fellow Americans on a great performance that literally had everyone in Canada shaking in their boots.

As for Canada, a loss in the Gold medal game would have completely destroyed the morale of this country, and these numbers prove it. It was way too close for comfort. We truly love this sport.

On another note, 2010 Vancouver attendee's consumed more alcohol than the last 2 winter Olympics combined! After only 2 weeks!

Here in michigan the game was a worst possible outcome.  Not only was our golden boy beat (Ryan Miller) it was crosby that scored the GWG in overtime. 

As a Redwings fan and a US fan i couldn't have scripted it worse.  Yzerman and Babcock all buddy buddy with crosby at the end of the game made me want to puke. 

Congratulations to all of Canada and the whole Canadian team, except for that fucker crosby

Ya I can see that, I find it somewhat disappointing that crosby got the gwg. He had an average at best performance and now this will just be remembered as the medal the "he won" when its going to overshadow better performances from guys like richards and toews.
