It is the knowledge that we keep with us for our entire lives (and arguably beyond ). Pleasure, coming physical objects or other people is only temporary. In order to ultimately derive the most satisfaction from our lives, we must make the conscious decision to be happy, no matter what the circumstances we are in.

STAL

There is one image in my life that consistently makes me happy no matter when I think about it. And that image, that one image is your big tits.

I have logged in this once so that I can set the "last seen" feature up.  let the faggots flow forth into OTD and have it.  Its funny how they all grew nuts after I left.  I'm not here, I'm not reading, but I urge you all to keep melting down over me.  I know, I hurt alot of people, and they deserved it.  epic win for me, epic fail for you.

ythan, you rock dude.  i feel that my time at the shroomery was very positive and enjoyable, but this site is no longer for me. im not mad or upset or disappointed, i just want no part in a pg rated faggot festival.

I donno, the idea of everyone being God is kind of like grade inflation to me. We're not omniscient or omnipotent or any of that shit, which, if I were gonna be granted Godhood, I'd hope would be part of the package. If you want to say God is "creativity" or "consciousness" or even that we ourselves are sparks of the the Divine, the infinite undefinable, I'd go for that.[1]

Interesting topic.  I see it like this -- straight biblical.  Knowledge is the apple.  I'd rather be Adam chillin in the Garden with a pretty lady and some good eats.

ChairmanMeow, you are misinterpreting him, I believe

he is not saying he is ominpotent, I believe he is simply saying that doin thangs is doin thangs

everything is just a reflection of itself in every single combination possible. What you are experiencing is the combination that occurs when a biological human lifeform reflects the consciousness that is infinity/nothingness. It's very hard to explain, but that fact, is also my greatest source of joy. It's the most :aweoverdose: thang that there is (infinity/nothing) that can never be fully comprehended by even the highest states of being.

I almost kinda think that everything has already happened, the world has already ended in every single way possibly possible, but that only leads back to nothingness, which is always already there, and that's sorta like the ultimate boredom, and experience itself is sorta like a :dontspillme: roller coaster slingshot ride through the possibility back towards infinity, which is always already there as well, already one with the nothing, but that doesn't make it any less infinite. :crazy2:

very very very hard for me to attempt to explain what I mean but all I need to know is that doin thangs is doin thangs and that is the perfect source of :feelsgoodman: :awetrippie:

hi biz, how ya doin. i think you actually may be misreading me here. i don't think shroomism's claiming to be omnipotent, far from it. what i'm doing is reacting to the statement 'we're all God.' it's kind of a psychedelics cliche and badly needs to be replaced with a more meaningful statement. 'God' is such an ambiguous morass of meanings and beliefs it really could be taken as anything. if we're all god, then well, great -- but then there's no distinction between 'god' and 'human'; whereas if we WERE gods in the old sense, we'd certainly answer AT LEAST our own prayers.

we're human. this is a great and terrible and occasionally lame thing. we are all a mix of traditionally 'divine' and 'demonic' (as well as many other) qualities and urges. we are a bundle of power and powerlessness, wisdom and foolishness, with both known and unknown abilities. we are a mystery even to ourselves and yet also ridiculous. a bunch of primates with access to the divine! what a funny idea. but there it is.

as for doin thangs, well, that's human too, isn't it?

I dunno.. The one on the right looks like a pre-pubescent boy. Or maybe it's just a girl with a much smaller head than the vamp licking it. Confusing. Something odd here.

STAL.  For me the pursuit of personal freedom has led me to happiness and satisfaction.  Knowledge and pleasure still exist despite not being my focus in life anymore.

Both of those options are the exact same in my mind.

But if i had to categorize things, i would say that the most happyness comes out of realizing a connection between yourself and what you percieve to be the outside world. Nothing can beat the process of creation through an intimate understanding of physical materials, or the feeling of oneness tied to human relationships.
