It could have been done much better, I'll agree, but I guess there are two more sequels that are supposed to come out?  Hopefully there will be more exciting story to 'em.

The Neanderthals had a cranial cavity that is thought to have housed a brain 1/3 times larger than modern humans.

More proof that natural selection does not necessarily favor the more intelligent, but more often than not the less intelligent aggressive larger folks as does sexual selection the majority of the time.

Is there a problem with being descended from killers? My great grandfather was an imperial wizard of the Ku Klux Klan...he apparently committed murder several times....he was also a war hero on the shores of Normandy. I don't give a shit that he was psycho...it is a great story to tell.
