the grainy green glow of night vision equipment
cracke of gunfire, tracers arcing across the night sky
explosions in the distance, rumble of tanks

men in full chem-bio suits, marching across the sand
their insectoid eyes, their bulging noses, hunched over in resolve, or resignation?
marching, marching across the sand, are they still human?

the grim task ahead, the lives left behind
this is something familiar, something foretold...
the suits, those eyes, the faceless soldiers of the new....?..
it's the suits, those big black eyes
the air is poison
the land is afire

and the time is upon us

Was watching one news station where they flatly stated that "War is not entertainment." No it isn't, but on a station that has spent good money on a cool "War Against Iraq" logo complete with inspiring theme song, this insightful declaration rings quite hollow.

yea, i was walking by the tv a few days ago and CNN had this big "we bring you the real coverage first" type advertisement, it looked just like a freakin super action movie preview. I think they hired that deep dramatic voice guy...

BOOM, there is an explosion and the words 'CNN: The War On Iraq' flies out of the burning flames, along with some really intense orchestra music, and cutting pictures of various action scenes, with that guy saying shit like "What will happen next???" "Will our troops be ready for the Al-Queada??"

Get right in the middle of the action with CNN. It's as if you're on the streets of Bagdhad yourself. Bring the whole family, tell your friends!
