Stranded on a Desert Isle...
    #3447520 - 12/04/04 10:38 PM (12 years, 6 days ago)

You can pick one of two people as your sole companion for the next five years.
The following is ALL the information you have. Who do you pick and why?

A. A formerly hardcore and very violent dude who has converted to Christianity.

B. An affirmed atheist and pacifist with no history of violence.

The proof is in the pudding.

there are only two things that I know about each of the individuals, which is obviously not really enough to decide, but to play the game...

I'll go with b. reason is this...B is consistent. A. was a violent person who all of a sudden converted into christianity. I do not know how this person converted, or why they did such a thing. furthermore, I don't think converting means they are a better person, in actuality, it might mean the complete opposite.

a change in personality goes far beyond being a "converted christian"

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.---senior doobie

Allow me to create a sub-poll for everyone on your intellectual property, i.e. thread:

You can pick one of any people who frequent this S&P forum as your sole companion for the next five years.
What you've read from them and have experienced in interacting with them is ALL the information you have. Who do you pick and why?

I, personally, would pick Markos, someone wise and intelligent, with immense living experience and some spiritual know-how.
Or maybe I'd just choose Jiggy or Froggy..

SWAMI.............. I see right through you.

Your ego gets bigger with every post.

And to assume I have been Converted is very far from the mark and shows how very little you really understand what God can do.

And you know almost nothing about my history to say I was VERY VIOLENT

This is great ..............

Edit..... I require no follwers only people willing to talk and listen

Excuse me ?

If you have been paying any attention to what has been going on in here tonight. You would plainly see that my post has nothing to do with my ego.

My post was nothing more than exposing a thread that was cheap shot mixed with an insult, by a man who needs to be reaffirmed that he is the "leader" of this board. Of course he is not

My ego does poke it's head up from time to time but this is not one of them.

I thought maybe you were smarter than that ?

Why do you assume that this thread is about you?

And you say Swami has a big ego?  :smirk:

B because Christians are like a broken record, except much more annoying, and less intelligent than the atheist usually

I just got in from a very long flight so I am going to be very short.

You not only insult the integrity of this board but you insult intelligence.

This thread is exactly what I pegged it for. And as usual you have circumvented the facts and twisted your intent.

Anyone that seen what transpired here last night knows in fact you are a liar and I am very disappointed in you.

In fact I have lost a large part of my respect for you Swami. Not that another mans opinion of you would make the least bit of impact.

A man of integrity would say the truth behind this. I would say you are very weak and have no spine.

:smirk:

Edit........ Just because a child does not get caught with his hands in the cookie jar does not mean that child is not guilty. Swami ? You have crumbs on your chin

If that is ALL I had to go on is that, and I knew nor could learn anything more about the 2 individuals, I would have to go with B.

I don't know the reasons for why A converted to Christianity, and I'm not going to sit on an island with someone who might possibly repeat history.

B has always been nonviolent, and heck, we'll have some interesting discussions.
