Yes folks, we are all descendents of Ghengis Khan, Attila the Hun, Julius Caesar, Napolean, King David, Pol Pot, Stalin, Chaka Zulu, various Shang and Zhou emperors and Egyptian Pharoahs or their armies or other unnamed leaders and warriors who took what they wanted.

The weak and the passive were trampled under their feet and their seed was no more.

And here we are! :cheer:

Our ancestors did not go directly from trees to metropolises. There was at least a few hundred thousand years in between.

Humans most likely also lived in sorts of tribes back then, so it wasn't the strong ones walking around leisurely and killing off all the weak, most likely, rather it was one tribe against another, and the stronger/more power hungry people within each tribe killing each other over who gets to be king. The weak aren't a threat unless they're a liability, which there's no particular reason why they should be, or unless they aren't so weak anymore. And choosing to side with the more powerful side probably protected the weak back then as it did today.

~17 million people in Asia are said to be descendants of Genghis Khan.  I guess going around raping the helpless women in every new town that you attack is worth something after all.

While this is an interesting theory I have to disagree. Because every great(!) leader always gets rid of their opponents and keeps the weaklings because it is easier to rule weaklings then strong opponents. They keep the strong who are easily ruled (ie morons) who bred with all those weaklings they enslaved and so we are actually all descendant of strong (albeit stupid) and weak (easily ruled) who were easily controlled by those great(!!) leaders.
