What The Fuck Firefox

All of a sudden Firefox wont remember my password to sites like it was.

Yahoo, The Growery and a couple others that need a PW to get into
I have to manually insert the username and password now

Go to Toolas >> Options >> Security > and make sure 'remember passwords for sites' is checked.

I was a Firefox fan for a while, as I came to that from IE. And, let's be frank, anything's a fucking improvement on IE!
But now I use Chrome, and jeez, Firefox is so slow in comparison.
I can open a window, hit the shroomery and be browsing thread titles by the time Firefox has opened.

Google chrome is doing something like this on me since yesterday.

Places that I leave myself logged in,when I go onto them,it's on the login page with all my details in,waiting for me to press go. :paranoid: :foil:

You probably already know this, but it's not all that safe to have your browser remember passwords. I know it's convenient, but it only takes one time to get hacked and have someone possibly cause a lot of damage, especially if you do anything online that has to do with money.

Chromes alright, it's like firefox that's a little anorexic. It was crashing on me a bunch last week so I went back to firefox.

BTW, why are there so many double posts today, anyone else notice that???

First thing I checked :bored:

I have My Threads here at the Shroomery as my homepage
and it remembers that one, but no others
and only started doing this about 7-10 days ago

I only have my browser remember passwords to social sites
never financial sites or anything tied to my money

firefox may be a little slower than chrome but chrome doesnt have 1/10th of the functionality that firefox does.

i like my shit quick but i also want to be able to use my browser the way i want.

ill stick with firefox.

First you may have to unhide the bookmarks bar.
The way I did it may be a little convoluted but I wanted it similar to firefox.
I imported my bookmarks from firefox, they then show up in the "other bookmark" folder to the right. I then copied all the bookmarks out of there and pasted them into the bookmarks folder on the left, I don't remember what it was called. I then renamed what ever it was to "bookmarks".
