Hair care?

When it comes to hair and skin, i'm i guess what you'd call combination.  I'm dry and greasy at the same time..make sense? No it does not.

I've been using a dry scalp shampoo the last good while.  My scalp is not very dry anymore but theres a new problem.  I cannot miss 1 single day of washing my hair(and i know it's "bad" to wash your hair everyday)otherwise it's greasy as phuk.

What i'm asking you is what kind of other shampoo could/should i put into the mix? Something thats actually good for my scalp/hair?

Dryscalp shampoo 1 day, greentea/eucalyptus tree shampoo the next 2 days.. somethin like that im sure.

Hmm, my hair gets greasy too, especially after a couple days without showering.  I use "burts bees" shampoo and it's great, but I suppose it depends on the person.  I only shower every other day and don't always use shampoo.

I hear the same thing about natural oils being washed away but I do shampoo twice a day with Head and Shoulders. I shave my head so I just use a tiny amount, just enough to lather and clean my dome.

Shave every two days and moisturize after my shoulders. Helps immensely. I used to get bad smelly head if I didn't, especially with hair. And even washing bedding regularly, my greasy hair led to horrible acne. Forced to shave, but I prefer it that way.


Cetaphyl makes a great non-comedogenic moisturizer that's cheap and isn't greasy or filmy. I used to mix it with a tiny bit of water or apply it while still damp, but started using a more liberal amount. It's amazing. No dry, itchy or greasy scalp. No smell, acne or anything negative. Been doing this for over two years straight and can't believe I've finally rid myself of smelly head, acne and any other hair/head related annoyance!!!
