level 5 trips-be carefull!!!!

happy new year to everybody! yesterday i had a level 5 trip accidentally!! i didnt counted exactly what i ate!! i was going for a level 3 maybe 4 but everything changed later!!!
if u'll ever gonna have a level 5 trip for your first time DON'T be with other people!! stay alone at home! no music,no lights! DON'T look in the mirrors! Just relax on your bed...
level 5 trips are the limit of the crazyness! i almost got crazy! i thought i would be like this forever! unbelievable!!! i am not sure if i'll ever do this again! very intense for me

When it happens again remember the mantra "Its only a drug, all will be good soon". Of course the mantra only does you good during the lulls in the waves... during the peaks you just kind of have to ride with the flow... not that you have any choice.

My dose for a level 5 trip was around 9g. It wasn't pleasant at all as I did it with friends around and now I stick to level 4s.

I always feal like I'm going crazy after I peak and my buzz starts to wear off even on small doses. I have to smoke bowl after bowl to start to feal "normal" again.

Sometimes when you trip that hard you start to think that something snapped in your mind and traumitized you bad and that's why you'll stay insane forever! Like a neverending flashback or something...

I agree with Hamurabi... we had the same trip at the same time!
You can read it here in my post here.

It was a level 5 trip with only 3 grams dryed... unbelievable. Probably I'm very sensitive to psilocybin.
The problem to me was the I was aware that it was only the drug, but I didn't care... I only wanted it to stop. I knew that I won't be crazy forever, but I really couldn't bear that huge knowledge of the universe.
Also my problem was to have too much people around... for a level 5 you need to be in a completely calm place, no lights, no music...

It was scary, but after 4 days, I think I'll need to try it again...

off topic question: i see that you people talk about levels in your trips ... where can i find a little info on the scale of those levels ... never read anything about it ... tnx for any help ...

I think Erowid.org has a list of the levels of shroom experience.

How long did your level 5 last though, really? -- you must've looked a clock sometime during the loony-ness...

I've been there, took some maoi's as well and the whole thing lasted for probably 7 hours [peak, i mean]. I started to realize i could create things, synchronicities in the environment, it was creepy. Like i had tapped into a sort of double vision, except with time instead of sight. It got so good that i wished i could stay like that forever, sure nothing would really get done, and sure no one would really be able to communicate with me, but what the hell?

hehehee.

but in retrospect, it'd be nothing special if it was like that all the time, you'd crave sobriety.

hell it lasted up to 7-8 hours!!! what a trip!!! i think i'll do it again too! very soon;-) maybe in 5 days when i will be in AMsterdam for 5 days:-)

When ever I feel that I have lost it for good this time simply let go and realize so what and it becomes the most beautiful expierence you will ever have.

Say yeah I may end up like this forever then forget of all the people you will be letting down because of this and all the things you might miss and be here now, works for me everytime.
