Shroom combos

Does any drug go good in combination with shrooms, people tell me if you drink you cant feel the effect of the alcohol, and people say that weed clogs your brain so you cant enjoy the enlightment of the shrooms, i was thinking maybe dxm (cough syrup) or just shrooms, i am getting some shrooms for the first time 1/8 and i have to split it with my cousin, so i want to make the most intense trip possilble from what little i have, thanks guys
