To make mushrooms stronger, simply take more.

Be careful with the MAOI, read up on the dangers of using one at erowid.

And, remember, an MAOI will affect the trip in a way that it will not be a regular mushroom trip. MAOIs like syrian rue and harmaline have subtle psychedelic effects of their own.

Most people seem to underestimate shrooms. I would say they are FAR more intense than acid, and have a stronger mindfuck. I can throw down 4 hits of decent liquid lsd and do normal everyday tasks if I was so inclined. I can hike long distances and have long intelligent conversations.
On even 1/2 of an 1/8 of good mushrooms, I tend to trip balls to the point where I have to sit down and focus on the intensity of trip. A whole 1/8 will be plenty.

I have one friend who has done far more psychedelics than me. High doses of dramamine, lsd, dxm, dpt, salvia 10x, etc. and he got his first psychedelic defeat on 1/8 of mushrooms. Watch out :)

Yes an 1/8 or decent cubies will do for a first trip, its heavy even. Harmala does work, cuts doseages in half from waht I read, but mucking about with that on a first trip is probably not a good idea. Extracting active compunds with juice sounds shaky, but stranger things have been true. I do know that many people like oj with mushies to combat the taste. BTW someone on this board did a DXM and shroom combo, I forget exact doses for each but they were fairly low if memory serves, and he had a very intense and visual experience. Wouldn't recommend it for a first trip. Eat your mushrooms, enjoy your trip. An 1/8 is plenty fine.
