Manslaughter charge ??? WTF

okay , so I've read a few stories on ppl supplying others shrooms, than that other consumes the shrooms ,trips balls , does something stupid, ends up dieing than the person who supplied him with the shrooms catching a manslaughter charge , when a heroin addict ODs does the dealer get charged with manslaughter ??? or when someone high on any other drug for that matter ends up dieing because they do something stupid , does the supplier catch a manslaughter ?? cause I know of many stories of ppl ODing on other drugs , but never seen manslaughter charges being handed out as frequent as they do when it pertains to shrooms ??

It occasionally happens with heroin too - I've read some stories like that.

It's interesting that the person who sells someone alcohol at the liquor store doesn't get charged with manslaughter when people OD on alcohol.

i think those are rumours for the most part. tho i dont doubt there have been fucked up simieler cases

i always hear people talking about "attempted manslaughter" witch is just down right stupid as manslaughter inplies there was no intent to kill.

it's called the Len Bias Law

And also if you sold it to that person or sold it to the person who sold it to the person, etc. One purpose of it is to lead back to huge suppliers.

This happened to a kid at my school. A kid jumped off a fourth story balcony on shrooms and died.  The guy that 'allegedly' sold them to him was charged.  He actually went to the high school my mom teaches at. Just a bad situation all around... I would assume irresponsible psychedelic use, and ridiculousness by the law.
