Partial purple mushroom ID

I found these today while looking for a christmas tree. I got excited when I kicked over a mushroom and thought I saw blue hues, it actually looks more purple now. Any ideas?


Habitat:
I found these up on a mountain, just below the start of the snow level. They were on the edge of the thick brush and the coniferous old growth, in a generic mix of forest floor coverings (old wood, moss, leaves, everything)

Gills:
Brown with purple tips

Stem:
From 1.5 inches to 6+., pretty thick. It is mostly brown, with a white base and purplle comming through, especially at the top. I broke one apart and it has a solid fleshy core that's white-purple.

Cap:
Brown with light purple around the edges, round top.

Spore print color:
Still waiting.

If the spore print is white its probably Clitocybe nuda.

If the spore print is rusty brown its a Cortinarius sp.

From the pics it looks more like a Cort.
